Erotica Exhibition

posted by admin in Uncategorized

You may not be aware that each year in the Earls Court Exhibition Hall in London, there is a huge Erotica exhibition. Now you may think that this sounds like a slightly seedy event where you are likely to see a few undesireables and some cheap sex shop sellers trying to sell their wares. You would be completely wrong about that and you may be surprised to find out how popular the event is amongst the public.

Show and sell

posted by admin in Uncategorized

Unless you work for one of the major national art galleries and museums, like the Louvre or the Prado, the chances are that the main aim of your next exhibition is to try and sell some of the pieces of work. You might never see a price tag on the Mona Lisa, but living artists have to eat and they rely on you showing their precious pieces in the best possible light to help bring in the maximum revenue. Hang a painting like it’s a strip of used couch roll and the chances are that the wannabe art collectors will spend their cash elsewhere. And that’s not just bad for the artist; it’s bad for your gallery and its commission too!

Even Attending Exhibitions Can Be Good For Your Business

posted by admin in Uncategorized

Exhibitions are good for enhancing ones presence in the market. Many persons presume that businesses can enjoy the benefits of exhibitions only by registering and participating in the same. Well, you can learn a lot by simply attending exhibitions. Any and every big economic enterprise will rely on various small businesses for its relatively less important activities. Take the example of the big auto manufacturers. They make the automobile and sell it to the customers.

However, bulks of the components are outsourced from smaller businesses with relatively less turnover. The big companies will fail the moment these small businesses stop working properly. This is a symbiotic relationship and both the parties involved in the transaction are aware of this.

Do you work in a field or area related to London builders? Do you offer cleaning services for commercial and domestic establishments? Well, attending an exhibition of London builders can make a huge difference to your business. Instead of contacting homeowners after they have purchased the home, you can have a tie up with the builders whereby you will be recommended as the best service provider to all individuals who purchased the home. Having ten clients in ten different buildings can be a very complicated task. On the other hand, having ten clients in a single building will help you do your job very well.

In such a scenario, you can learn a lot about the builders and their expectations and requirements by attending these exhibitions. Of course, they will try to sell stuff to you but they will definitely be interested in new ideas and ventures that help them save money.

All lasting business is built on friendship.

Alfred A. Montapert

A tie up with a home cleaning service provider will help them enhance their reputation in the market. It will help them beat their customers and gain more in the long run. Of course, you will have to state your case forcefully and will have to make sure you market yourself well. Instead of contacting builders independently, you would do well to check out exhibitions where you can meet them at a same place.

Do Not Focus On Value Of Business Alone. Even PR Is Important

posted by admin in Uncategorized

Many businesses fail to understand that exhibitions are opportunities for people to know more about them. On the other hand, businesses treat exhibitions as opportunities to get more clients. This may not work at all times. The end result is that businesses get disillusioned with exhibitions and conclude that it is not worth including in the business strategy.

Well, you may have the best interior office design products in your hand and may be confident of putting up a good show at the exhibition that you have registered for. However, what if the visitors have absolutely no desire to open their wallets? What if you end up dealing with only those individuals who want to have a ‘look see'without actually committing to any deal?

Technically speaking, the exhibition will be a failure because you will not get sufficient orders to justify the investment. However, you must consider the advantage of participating in exhibitions. People who came just to observe would have observed you and would remember you and your brand. Of course, you are not going to become invisible after this exhibition, right? The fact that you were present will be a significant advantage in the future.

What is the hidden lesson here? You should never give up an opportunity to interact with your client base. In some cases, it is advisable to focus on establishing relations and not finalizing contracts. Of course, you should try your best to secure as many deals as possible. However, to quit participating in exhibitions will clearly send a message that you are interested in money alone.

If the exhibition does not work out as a good business venture, try converting it into a PR spectacle instead. Do something that will help all visitors remember what you offered in the exhibition and how your product or service was different as compared to all others.

Hang your work effectively

posted by admin in Uncategorized

When it comes to showing your work – whether you’re at a trade-show or organising your paintings for your very first exhibition – the crucial factor is the presentation; that may sound like the most obvious statement ever written, but clearly it isn’t obvious enough: every single year, artists and business-people exhibit at shows and galleries in a way which doesn’t generate profit. And there’s a reason for this. It’s the gaping chasm of difference between artists who sell well and those who wind up going bankrupt…

Here are a few hints and tips which will genuinely help you get a handle on presenting your work. Follow these and you’ll be well on your way to not blending in with the masses.

Allow plenty of space around the images and remember, if you are having projectors, make sure you don’t have too many flashing and distracting images!

  1. First up, don’t make the mistake of crowding what is an otherwise decent space. Put up too many paintings or have too many panels on the walls and people will feel bewildered about where to begin. The whole theme will quickly become confused and potential customers will walk away, feeling cheated. The key is in being sparse. Allow plenty of space around the images and remember, if you are having projectors, make sure you don’t have too many flashing and distracting images!

  2. It doesn’t matter what you are selling – shredding services , gardening equipment or your document storage business – you need to make sure the images don’t contrast too heavily. The important thing to remember is to have a central theme. And be sure to have information written down which people can pick up, so that they can walk around in the comfort of knowing that all questions are answered just by looking at the brochure in their hands.

  3. Lastly, consider additional style. You may be presenting a business product or paintings that speak for themselves, but you may need to dress the space up so that it looks better; this will also make your stand look exceptional, rather than just average. That could make all the difference where new customers are concerned!

  4. How about becoming part of the exhibition yourself? Do this by wearing a T-shirt printed with one of your designs. On the back you could even have a slogan to catch peoples eyes and create some drama. Add a few people doing this into the mix, allow them to walk around and your stand has legs which will allow it to be seen by even more people!

Galleries And Exhibitions – It Is All About Business

Galleries And Exhibitions – It Is All About Business

An outsider may be forgiven for thinking that a gallery is nothing but a place where paintings are exhibited and, in some cases, sold. What people fail to understand is that exhibitions involve a lot more than simply wearing bespoke business suits and doing social chit chat. For many persons, the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere of a painting gallery is the best place to discuss business. In any case, the gallery happens to be our workplace for the artist.
