The cool and cozy Ezekiel night club in Peckham in the South East of London on July 28 played host to the Kenema Old Students Association (KOSA) fundraising dance that attracted many Sierra Leoneans, including old boys of the School from all over the UK.
In his welcoming address the Chairman of KOSA UK,Dr. Joe Will thanked all those who braved the torrential rain to attend theevent. He explainedwhat KOSA has been doing with proceeds from the last twofundraising danceprogrammes like therefurbishment the school staff room.. And alsoassurethem that proceeds from this year's fundraising dance will be used for the refurbishment of the school toilets.
The night long event which was in a way turned out to be a good place to meet with old friends and school meets rolled on with a nice blend of old and new musical tunes which saw the dance hall vibrating with streams of dancers.
It was also punctuated with various side shows such as the inter secondary school musical chair which was won by Miss. Isatu Jambai representing the Harford Secondary School, Moyamba. Various prizes were also won in the raffle draw.
In his Vote of Thanks, KOSA Secretary General Mohamed Yongawo thanked all who helped in making the event a great success and called for their continuous support in the future
